Yuta Katayama studied under the very famous master "Takeshi Saji" in Echizen City, Fukui Prefecture, and then became independent. Currently, he works for producing traditional Echizen cutlery, which has a history of 700 years.
The knives he creates are comfortable to use and beautiful. He produces not only kitchen knives but also many outdoor knives using various unique ideas.

*Please dont try to cut or chop frozen foods and bones . Blades are too hard ,so they can chip.
*If you buy a carbon steel blade knife , keep it clean and dry after use . Carbon steel knives rust easily.
If you are not going to use it for a long time ,please pass magnolia or olive oil and wrap in a newspaper.
*We recommend the use of whetstones when you are going to sharpening them .
